Owner Elaine Carmack has more than 20 years of experience in talent identification and recruitment, market research, career counseling, job placement, project planning and analysis, technical consulting, government relations, and international business.  

She has previously lectured at AmericanUniversity, George Washington School of Business and Public Management, American Intercontinental University, and the Universityof Alabama/Huntsville on issues pertaining to career development.  Under the auspices of the Center for Innovative Technology Education, (CITE), she conducted resume-writing and job search workshops for career transitioning adults in Northern Virginia. 

As a published author, she has written extensively about the evolving world of employment for technology professionals.  At present, Ms. Carmack works with INTELLIGENCE CAREERS in Northern Virginia, where she provides recruiting services for their Cleared Candidate Career Fair events . 

She has traveled extensively in both Europe and the Far East and speaks four foreign languages fluently. She holds a bachelor’s degree in languages and linguistics from Georgetown University and a Master of International Management from Thunderbird–aka the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, AZ. 

She also owns a language tutoring service where she teaches private and small group sessions for children and adults alike at all levels of French, Italian, German and Spanish.

Over the past decade, Ms. Carmack has had extensive experience in creating and managing a numerous different businesses and is happy to offer her expertise to entrepreneurs seeking assistance in the start-up phases of their ventures.
